It seems surreal that I am already posting about my baby’s first birthday party. Ithink could go on for days on how time flies and all that shebang, but I know you guys are here for all the party details, so let’s get straight to the point.
First things first: I did not hire an event planner. Although I’ve never actually planned an event, party planning is one of my secret passions, so I figured I would be able to take on the task myself.
Let’s start with the baby/kids entertainment:
Kids Super Market: @beanddoo The hit of the party for sure! All the kids were raving about it. They played for hours. Their service is excellent and they have so many other options. They have: baby and me, vet clinic, adopt me, car workshop, spa, + more! Make sure to check it out.
Infant playground: @babystepsparty I was so excited to have Luka play on these fun little gyms. They also brought me the cutest kids table to use and it was amazing!

White Mini bouncy house:
@inflatesandiego
Piñatas:
@piñataspapelpicado

Let’s talk decorations:
Balloons & backdrops

@isabellaspecialoccasions
I had a problem with them, and the balloon backdrop wasn’t what I asked for. They were kind enough to give me a discount and accepted their fault. I was super embarrassed to have to tell them I wasn’t happy with their work, BUT I understand that things happen, and I’m this case, she trusted someone with the job she shouldn’t have. Her work looks fantastic, but unfortunately, I can’t tell you guys I loved what she did at my party because I didn’t. I guess if you’d like to hire her make sure you’re on top of her.

Centerpieces: @purascosasbonitasllc
They delivered unique and beautiful centerpieces along with matching table cloth and tables. I also asked them to make me a matching miniature centerpiece for the kids table.
Kids Table: @babystepsparty
brought me a ten-seat kids’ table that I decorated myself. I had the girls at @purascosasbonitasllc make a matching centerpiece, but other than that I decorated it! Keep scrolling for the links.

I got the interactive placemat from this Etsy shop.
The plates were custom made from:

the rest of the items can be found in my Amazon store front here.
as for the food and drinks…
Snack bar & Hand-Made Iced Pops:

@elbotanero.snackbar
The best snack bar in San Diego, hands down! They also are now debuting their iced pops. They have a baby-friendly flavor, lime, no sugar, delicious keto options, and not your-average flavored iced pop whether you’re craving creamy, fruity, or spicy.

Paella Personal Chef: @mestizajecocina A family favorite. We also had him service my gender reveal!
Bar Cart: @perfectdosemixologia Their beautiful little cart sold me. Plus they have a ton of different super fun and delicious drinks to choose from. We all loved them.

Last but not least, party favors
Dessert Table & Cake: I had @purascosasbonitasllc help me out with this. Dani Flowers made the cake, but the table decorations were all them.
Personalized Boxes: @bearpaperandco I found her Instagram and thought her work was amazing.

Plaster basketball party favors: I got them from this Etsy shop.
Individual paint kits: I got them from this Etsy shop.
Lanyards and basketball stress balls were bought on Amazon here, and I created the images on canva myself; printed and cut them into ID-sized badges.
