These may just be one of my favorite recipes. It’s really a no-brainer, basically, a hamburger recipe made with tuna and flaxseed instead of breadcrumbs for that healthy kick.
I decided to have them plain with some arugula and a Greek yogurt “aioli” but after trying them I realize they taste so much like a burger patty that these would go great with whole wheat burger buns.
What you need:
For the patties:
- 1 canned tuna
- 2 tbsp of chopped parsley
- 2 tbsp of minced onion
- Garlic powder, salt, and pepper
- 1/2 cup ground flaxseeds
- 1 egg
- Lemon juice and zest
For the sauce:
- 4 tbsp of Greek yogurt
- Organic ketchup
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
