This year, we decided to go to Napa Valley for Thanksgiving. I was beyond excited because I’ve never been and it was one of those places I’ve been wanting to see for the longest time.
We decided to drive… my family and I are all about road trips. So an 8-hour drive (550 miles) to drive was nothing to us.
My favorite part about road trips, of course, are the snacks. But have you ever found yourself wishing you could snack your life away without all the guilt? Because that was my main concern and honestly, it was my first time actually having to find a bunch of different, good, and healthy snacks… and I must say it was not that easy. So after hovering the aisles of whole foods, sprouts, and trader joe’s, this are the snacks that made it to Napa:
I can swear by their popcorn. Super healthy and delicious. Not only is good, but it’s organic and only made with the best ingredients. This kept me full and very satisfied. You can taste the freshness, and with 40 calories per cup what more can you ask for?
I was a little skeptical about getting these just because it looked too good to be true. I mean how can so little ingredients actually taste SO GOOD? It only contains:
Banana, Organic Coconut, Organic Sesame Seeds, Raspberry, Orange & Lemon Rind.
Contains: Sesame Seeds
I must say they were a hit! They are simple, crispy, and kind of addictive. These are definitely going to be in my pantry from now on.
I think I’ve always been a fan of kale chips, but these take the prize. I love a spicy and salty snack, so these were the perfect balance between salty, spicy, and healthy. I had to get like 10 of these because they were soooo good.
MUST TRY VINEYARDS/WINERIES:
- Opus One
- Robert Mondavi
- Silver Oak
- Paraduxx
- Duckhorn
- Gloria Ferrer (in Sonoma)
Here are some pictures of my trip to Napa, I hope you enjoy them and don’t forget to leave your comments!
